Located in the Grand Est region near the borders of Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium, SnowWorld Amnéville (originally known as Snowhall) holds the absolute global record for indoor slope length. At 620 metres long with a 90-metre vertical drop, its main run transitions from an intermediate blue profile into a legitimate 20% to 25% pitch red section. Maintained at -5°C by 15 high-output snow cannons, it serves as a critical off-season training hub for international race teams.

Wednesday and Thursday early afternoons provide wide, uncrowded slope access immediately following the professional training team departures.
Features a progressive alpine profile. The separate beginner zone is flat and low-stress. The massive main slope begins as an intermediate blue before dropping down a technical 20-25% steep grade simulating a real mountain red run.

Easily accessed from Metz by taking the A4 motorway toward Semécourt, then following the N52 to Amnéville. By rail, take the regional TER Metz-Thionville train and exit at Hagondange station, followed by a local taxi or the direct TIM No. 77 bus line.
